Mark Lawrence
Mark Lawrence brings over 20 years of Quality Assurance experience from the food and beverage industry and his current role with the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA). He holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Morgan State University and is pursuing a degree in Occupational Safety at Eastern Kentucky University. Mark’s passion for youth development is inspired by his upbringing and service with Destiny of Hope, a Baltimore-based youth center that mentored more than 60 at-risk youth.

Board Secretary
Duane Jones
Duane Jones is a professionally trained chaplain with extensive experience providing spiritual and emotional care in clinical and interfaith settings. He holds a Master of Divinity and a Master of Arts in Christian Care from Lancaster Bible College Capital Graduate and Seminary and has completed multiple units of Clinical Pastoral Education. Duane currently serves as a Contractor Chaplain at MedStar Washington Hospital Center, a Level 1 trauma hospital, where he supports patients, families, and staff from diverse faith traditions and backgrounds.

Board Treasurer
Shelton O. Jones, Jr.
Shelton O. Jones Jr. brings over 34 years of experience in law enforcement and public safety. He served 22 years with the Baltimore City Police Department, including 19 years as a detective, and 10 years with the Anne Arundel County Police Department, with assignments in patrol, sex offenses, and homicide. Following his retirement, he served as Chief of the Baltimore City Liquor Board and as Director of Public Safety for the Midtown Benefits District.
Born and raised in East Baltimore, Mr. Jones attended Lake Clifton Senior High School and Towson State University. A former foster parent, he is committed to youth advocacy and works with the Change 180 Foundation to help young people avoid involvement in the criminal justice system..

Executive Director
Diarra Brown
Diarra Brown is the Executive Director of Change-180 Foundation with a longstanding passion for youth mentorship and development. He has launched and participated in multiple mentoring programs and most recently served as a youth missionary for a nationally and internationally recognized nonprofit organization. Diarra has worked as a public charter school teacher in Washington, DC, and as a youth minister for elementary through high school students. A consistent advocate and mentor, he has positively impacted countless young people. In addition to leading Change-180, Diarra is also a successful small business owner.
