From Vision to Impact
Change-180 Foundation was founded by Diarra Brown, whose lifelong passion for serving youth began while mentoring middle school boys at Bowie State University. Through this work—and later while leading youth and school-based ministries within the church—Diarra saw a critical need in communities that were not being reached. Witnessing the power of consistent guidance and support, his commitment to youth development continued to grow. After a 27-year career in information technology, Diarra stepped out on faith to serve full-time as a youth missionary—laying the groundwork for what would become Change-180.
Built alongside dedicated leaders who shared this vision, Change-180 was established to change the trajectory of youth, families, and communities through intentional mentoring, committed to the Four Pillars: Good Character, Strong Leadership, Business Building, and Wealth Management. In major part due to the generosity and belief of early donors, Change-180 successfully launched its first Youth Club in Freetown—marking a pivotal milestone in bringing the mission to life.
Today, Change-180 is more than an organization; it is a growing movement focused on lasting impact—one student at a time.
